This was reported by the Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration and Chief of the Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin.
“Preparations for winter under martial law were discussed with community leaders and heads of relevant structural units of the Regional State Administration.
Due to damage to gas pipelines, the power system, as well as ongoing hostilities, it is currently impossible to start the heating season in the Kurakhivka, Lyman, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Siversk, Toretsk, Chasiv Yar, Illinivka, and Kostiantynivka communities. In the Dobropillia and Sviatohirsk communities, heat supply will be provided partially.
I emphasized that, despite all the challenges of war, we must support the residents of these communities through the winter. I instructed the heads of local military administrations to promptly address the issue of providing people with wood-burning stoves, buleryan heaters, firewood, and pellets.
We are doing everything possible to prepare public infrastructure and ensure people have access to essential services,” Vadym Filashkin stressed.
