On September 10, 2026, the Center for Digital Education at the Donetsk Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education hosted a regional webinar titled “Google Workspace: Tools for Communicating with Parents and Organizing the Educational Process,” which brought together 245 educators from the region interested in using innovative digital technologies.
The webinar program featured a wealth of practical case studies from educators in the Donetsk region.
Olena Kilko, a primary school teacher at Kostiantynivka General Secondary School No. 13 (Grades 1–3), demonstrated a unique method for quickly creating tests in Google Forms by integrating Gemini AI and Google Apps Script.
Natalia Perepelytsia, an instructor of construction disciplines at the Sloviansk Energy Construction Vocational College, shared her experience using Google Sites as a powerful tool for creating communication platforms and conducting interactive competitions and quests for students and their parents.
Daria Litvin, a top-tier computer science teacher and instructional specialist at Lyceum No. 2 of the Pokrovsk City Council in Donetsk Oblast, taught her colleagues how to turn Google Calendar into a smart digital assistant for teachers to help with planning and automating schedules.
The meeting concluded with an open dialogue and exchange of views, during which participants analyzed the potential of the technologies presented and outlined directions for their further implementation in the region’s educational sector.
