The Selidiv City Military Administration held an online meeting with Pavlo Gubko, a veteran and community representative on the regional council of veterans, as well as youth advisors Diana Shulga and Arina Mishina.

During the meeting, they discussed current issues in veteran and youth policy, support for community initiatives, engaging youth in civic life, and future cooperation.

Pavlo Gubko shared his experiences in sports and as a veteran, spoke about his work on the Regional Council of Veterans, and highlighted the issues that are currently important to veterans in the Selidiv community.

The youth advisors presented their activities, discussed their participation in youth projects, and shared their vision for future work with young people. They also paid special attention to the activities of the Donetsk Oblast Regional Youth Congress and opportunities to involve young people in the decision-making process.

“It is important for us to hear the opinions and needs of community residents. Young people and veterans must be active participants in community life, because it is through dialogue that important initiatives and joint decisions are born,” noted Anatoliy Nemchenko, head of the Selidovo Local Self-Government Body.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue maintaining an open dialogue, develop joint initiatives, and strengthen the participation of veterans and youth in the life of the Selidovo community.
