Together with specialized departments of the Regional State Administration, the employment service, CIMIC representatives, the Veterans' Council, and military personnel from the Youth Congress, they discussed how to make existing programs truly convenient and accessible for our defenders upon their return to civilian life.
The discussion covered studies at educational institutions in Donetsk Oblast and other regions, state programs for veterans and their family members, retraining, employment, training vouchers, and grants for starting a business.
The Head of Donetsk Oblast instructed that informing service members and their families about preferential admission and study conditions be strengthened, and that the employment service step up individualized support for veterans regarding training vouchers and grant programs.
"Our goal is to ensure that after service, a person is not left alone in search of a new profession or job, but has a clear pathway to education, professional development, and their own business.
Thank you to all participants for a substantive discussion and valuable proposals. All developed initiatives will be fixed into concrete decisions and further actions," emphasized Vadym Filashkin.
