On June 3-5, 2025, a training of trainers was held in Kyiv as part of a joint project of Save the Children and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine on the topic: "Ensuring the Safety of Children in Preschool Education Institutions of Ukraine".
The training brought together representatives from Donetsk, Zhytomyr, Zakarpattia, Zaporizhzhia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Odesa, Sumy, Ternopil, and Kharkiv regions.
Participants had the opportunity to learn more about the legal aspects of organizing a safe educational environment and mechanisms for preventing dangers, develop tools for interacting with parents, practice modeling risk situations and finding solutions, and share experiences with colleagues.
The event helped to improve the professional competence of teachers, expanded their understanding of the importance of teamwork in the field of safety, and reminded them that childhood should be not only happy but also protected.
