In honor of Ukrainian National Guard Day, the Municipal Institution “Administration of the State Historical and Architectural Reserve in Sviatohirsk” organized a workshop titled “An Amulet for a Hero.” The event, held at the V. Chornovil Boryspil Public Library, brought together internally displaced persons from Donetsk Oblast around a common goal: to express gratitude to those who fight for our freedom every day.
The main symbol of the gathering was a talisman made for our defenders in the shape of an angel. Participants crafted guardian angels with their own hands, infusing every detail with sincere prayers and faith in victory. For people who were forced to leave their homes because of the war, this event provided an opportunity to feel a sense of involvement in the important cause of supporting Ukrainian defenders. Each angel created is not just a souvenir, but a symbol of protection, hope, and deep gratitude to the soldiers who stand guard over the nation’s security every day.
The amulets created during the workshop will be sent to our defenders currently holding the line on the front lines. These symbols of support will serve as a living reminder to our soldiers of the reliable rear and the unbreakable unity of the Ukrainian people, which is the foundation of our resilience and faith in the future.
