In Khust, the practical stage of cooperation between the Pokrovsk and Khust communities, as set out in a memorandum signed in July 2025, is being actively implemented. As part of the national program "Side by Side: United Communities," a strategic partnership has been launched with the PRO BONO University Business Support Center of the UzhNU Law Faculty to provide free legal assistance to internally displaced persons.

The Center's specialists will advise IDPs on a pro bono basis, helping them resolve critical issues: from restoring lost documents and applying for social benefits to protecting labor rights and resolving housing disputes. The systematic approach of the university community allows IDPs not only to receive answers to urgent questions, but also to gain legal confidence in their new place of residence.

The synergy between the humanitarian hub "Yednannia," local government bodies, and the academic community creates an effective mechanism for protecting the interests of the community in evacuation. This format of interaction ensures the accessibility and professionalism of legal services, transforming legal support into an accessible and effective tool for social adaptation.

"Our goal is to combine community resources and expert support from scientists to do everything possible to ensure that people have access to the protection provided by law. Such cooperation allows us to provide professional assistance on a pro bono basis to anyone who finds themselves in difficult life circumstances," emphasized Viktor Hrytsak, head of the Yednannia humanitarian hub.
