On the way out of Mykolaivka, the car was attacked by enemy drones. The police were on alert and neutralized the threat using electronic warfare equipment. The weather also helped with the evacuation, as it significantly reduced visibility for the occupiers. Three children aged 8, 15, and 16, along with their relatives, are now safe.
Recently, Mykolaivka has been under constant shelling, with Russian drones circling the city around the clock.
Due to the danger, a woman with two children – her 8-year-old son Denis and 16-year-old daughter Marina – agreed to evacuate.
15-year-old Myroslava and her father also left the city. The family took their pets with them – 14-year-old cat Senya and bird Kirill.
The White Angel crew took the evacuees to Kramatorsk, and then, with the help of volunteers, they went to friends in the Kyiv region.
Currently, more than 4,000 residents remain in Mykolaivka. The police are urging people not to risk their lives and to leave for safer regions of the country.
