On July 24, 2026, at the initiative of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine’s Committee on Economic Development and the Ministry of Economy and Environment of Ukraine, an online working meeting was held with businesses in the Donetsk region that had been affected by Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine to discuss government business recovery programs.
The event was attended by more than 150 entrepreneurs whose property, equipment, or other assets were damaged or destroyed as a result of military operations.
During the opening of the working meeting, Dmytro Kysilevskyi, Member of the Ukrainian Parliament, Deputy Chair of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Development, and coordinator of the “Made in Ukraine” policy, along with Oleksandr Tsybort, Deputy Minister of Economy and Environment of Ukraine for Digital Development, Digital Transformation and Digitalization, emphasized that this meeting was aimed not only at providing information about existing support programs but also at identifying problematic issues and developing possible mechanisms for their improvement, taking into account the needs of entrepreneurs.
On behalf of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, Deputy Head Yuriy Klyuchka delivered a welcoming address, thanking the organizers and noting that for the Donetsk region, the issue of preserving and restoring economic potential is of particular importance, since, as a result of hostilities, most enterprises have suffered damage to or destruction of property, equipment, and production facilities, and more than 10,000 entrepreneurs have been forced to relocate their operations.
During the meeting, representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Environment of Ukraine, the State Employment Service, and the Export-Credit Agency presented mechanisms for providing recovery grants to manufacturing enterprises, insuring against war risks, implementing the “Point of Support” program, as well as opportunities to obtain preferential loans for recovery under the state program “Affordable Loans 5-7-9%.”
