This was reported by Vadym Filashkin, Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration and Chief of the Regional Military Administration.

In Dnipro, 21 families from Mariupol have moved into social housing created within the “YaMariupol.Housing” project. This is an important step in supporting people who lost their homes due to Russian aggression.

The housing complex is fully equipped: 192 rooms, kitchens, laundry facilities, children’s spaces, coworking areas and a gym. It is designed to accommodate 487 displaced people, with priority given to families of servicemembers, prisoners of war, people with disabilities, and large families. Selection is carried out through a point-based system.

This is the next phase of resettlement: in August, 131 families received keys, and another 47 are planned to move in December. The project is implemented with the support of the Government of France, IOM, the city councils of Mariupol and Dnipro, and partners — UNICEF, UNHCR, and several others.

A “YaMariupol.Care” service center and a Resilience Center for psychosocial support operate on-site. This is part of a broader system of assistance for Mariupol residents: a total of four social housing facilities have been created for 1,349 people, with three more currently in progress.
