Support to Help You Find Your Way: Employment Services for Internally Displaced Persons

The State Employment Service offers a variety of services and programs designed to help internally displaced persons find work and regain their economic independence. We invite you to take advantage of our modern services:

1. Job Placement

•Personalized job matching based on education, professional experience, and preferences.

•Online job search services: the Unified Job Portal, the Job Seeker’s Online Account, and the “State Employment Service” mobile app (available on the App Store and Google Play).

•Opportunities to participate in community service and other temporary jobs.

2. Vocational Training

•Training for the unemployed, commissioned by employers, in blue-collar professions in demand on the labor market.

•Receiving a voucher that allows you to improve your professional skills at no cost.

3. Grant Support

Grant support is available for those wishing to start or scale their own business: up to 500,000 UAH for business startup and up to 2.5 million UAH for business development.

Funds can be used, in particular, to purchase equipment, vehicles, and materials; to rent premises; for marketing; and to cover other expenses specified by the program.

To participate, you must submit an application and a business plan through the “Diya” portal, undergo an evaluation, and participate in an interview.

4. Support Programs for Employers Hiring Internally Displaced Persons

•Support for employers in the form of compensation for labor costs associated with hiring internally displaced persons (provided that registered unemployed individuals among the internally displaced persons are hired).

•Compensation for labor costs associated with hiring internally displaced persons as a result of hostilities during martial law in Ukraine (for each person hired from among the IDPs).
