In September 2025, two music schools from the Dobropillia community were relocated to Dnipro: Music School No. 1 in Dobropillia and Music School No. 2 in Bilytske. After the move, the Dobropillia community became the third to organise mixed-format arts education for children. The schools continued their creative journey at the Dobropillia Community Music Hub.

Currently, 34 music school teachers teach 370 students to play musical instruments and vocal arts. Some of the children regularly attend classes held at the Hub.

The Music Hub welcomes everyone and has become a real artistic space for the people of Dobropillia. It brings together the community of Dobropillia, provides education, and hosts cultural and artistic events, seminars, master classes, and other activities.

Today, a landmark event took place at the Hub, combining deep respect for the past with contemporary artistic talent. Valentina Korolyova, a student at Music School No. 1 in Dobropillia and recipient of a creative scholarship for talented children from art schools and cultural institutions in the Donetsk region in 2025, and a member of the Beregynya research team (teacher - Lyudmila Khoruzhiy), performed a solo programme for those present.

Valentina studies and promotes authentic Ukrainian folk songs and the local heritage of Donetsk Oblast, both ritual and everyday. Her multi-genre repertoire includes historical, Chumak, recruit, Cossack, lyrical, dance and humorous songs. It is nice to know that a girl who is only 12 years old represents a generation that understands that culture is an integral part of the struggle for Ukrainian identity and freedom.

The Dobropillia Territorial Community Music Hub continues to be a cultural centre where a new generation of Ukrainians is being formed — a generation that remembers the value of dignity and is confidently creating its future in a free and independent Ukraine.
