The event was organized by the Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine.
Among the participants were Deputy Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine Oleksiy Kuleba, Chair of the Verkhovna Rada Committee Olena Shulyak, members of parliament, and our international partners.
Donetsk Oblast was represented at the forum by the heads of the Lyman, Sloviansk, and Pokrovsk administrative authorities, Oleksandr Zhuravlov, Vadym Lyakh, and Serhiy Dobryak, respectively, and the secretary of the Kramatorsk City Council, Ihor Stashkevych.
The panel discussions focused on increasing the resilience of communities and regions in wartime, the challenges and prospects of decentralization, strengthening the role of digital tools in local government, and deepening cooperation between regions within the framework of the Side by Side: United Communities project.
"It is very important to have such a platform where we can exchange experiences and formulate new proposals for cooperation.
