




Common points of contact and prospects for cooperation were discussed by representatives of the sports and youth communities of Pokrovsk and Ivano-Frankivsk during an online meeting. The event took place as part of the national project "Side by Side: United Communities".
The event was attended by representatives of relevant structural divisions of city councils, sports schools and institutions, and youth councils of both communities.
The participants began the conversation with general information about the structure of their institutions. They then moved on to discussing possible forms of cooperation, such as delegation visits, implementation of joint projects in the field of youth policy and sports development.
During the open discussion, there was an exchange of ideas and plans for the future. Participants were interested in further cooperation in both the field of sports and the development of the youth environment. "For the Pokrovsk community, this meeting was an important step in finding partners and like-minded people. We are interested in studying the experience of Ivano-Frankivsk to improve our own approaches in working with youth and in the field of sports. We are open to cooperation and ready for concrete steps," noted Vitaliy Shcherbinka, head of the Department of Family, Youth and Sports of the Pokrovsk City Council.
At the end of the event, further steps within the framework of the project "Side by Side: United Communities" were agreed upon and responsible persons for further communication were identified.
