Every year, women of Donetsk prove that it is their strength, wisdom and dedication that are the driving force behind the development of communities, culture, science, sports and charity. It is in order to adequately recognize their contribution that the annual regional competition "Woman of Donetsk" is held.
This year, taking into account the difficult situation in the region and the lack of stable electricity supply, the Department of Family, Youth and Mass Events of National and Patriotic Education of the Donetsk Regional State Administration in cooperation with the charitable foundation "Slavic Heart" and with the support of UN Women in Ukraine decided to extend the deadline for accepting applications until September 21, 2025. This will give all interested women the opportunity to submit documents and join the competition.
The purpose of the competition is to support and recognize the most active representatives of the Donetsk region, who make a significant contribution to public and cultural life, contribute to the establishment of gender equality and the implementation of the state policy of equal rights and opportunities for women and men.
We invite active, talented and caring women of the Donetsk region to take part in the competition and share their success stories!
We remind you that to participate in the Competition, the following documents are submitted in electronic form to the e-mail address of the Department [email protected]:
application for participation in the competition in any form (for convenience, the template is available at the link: https://surl.li/arjadb);
a woman's story in any form, in Ukrainian, written from the third person, up to two pages of A4 format (each story is moderated and approved) (recommendations and examples for writing a story at the link: https://surl.li/saoybp );
an announcement of the story for posting on the web resources of the Department and the Donetsk Regional State Administration, web resources of organizations involved in the competition, up to 2000 characters (before publishing the story, it undergoes preliminary review) (recommendations and examples for writing an announcement at the link: https://surl.li/yswzwo);
a photo of the woman (recommendations for photos at the link: https://surl.lt/cmzxoy);
copies of documents confirming the candidate's achievements (articles, awards, information about participation in festivals, forums, conferences, etc.) (if available, can be submitted in a file with a download link);
copies of identity documents and an extract from the register of the territorial community with information about the declared/registered place of residence (stay) in the Donetsk region, which confirms the current or previous place of residence (in particular, to obtain an extract, you can use the instructions on the website of the "DIYA" Portal BY LINK, video instructions on obtaining an extract in the "DIYA" application on a smartphone BY LINK), in the case of temporary stay in another region - a certificate of registration of an internally displaced person;
contact information for communication with the indication of a mobile phone number and e-mail (filled in the application for participation);
consent to the processing and publication of personal data in accordance with the requirements of the Law of Ukraine "On the Protection of Personal Data" (template at the link: https://surl.li/dzsjri ).
Other materials that will help reveal the candidate's achievements and her social significance may be added to the above list of documents. Stories can be submitted by potential candidates of the competition themselves, as well as by their family members or acquaintances, state bodies, local self-government bodies, work teams, etc.
