A regular meeting of the “Transparency and Accountability” working group was held under the chairmanship of Ihor Boiko, Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration. Members of the working group and invited participants took part in the event.
During the meeting, participants reviewed the issue of public procurement carried out by the Pokrovsk Urban Territorial Community in 2026.
According to the Department of Economy of the Regional State Administration, from April 28 to May 7, 2026, contracting authorities from seven territorial communities in the region planned 12 procurements of goods and services totaling UAH 9.4 million.
Out of the 12 procurements, four contracts were concluded for:
the purchase of electronic warfare equipment, gasoline, and diesel fuel;
funeral services for deceased single citizens and homeless persons;
transportation of children to Educational Complex No. 1 of the Pokrovsk City Council of Donetsk region, relocated to the city of Dnipro.
According to the Department of Economy, from January 1 to May 13, 2026, the Pokrovsk Urban Territorial Community planned 24 procurements of goods and services worth UAH 21.4 million.
Relevant informational materials on this issue were provided to the members of the working group for review.
Head of the Pokrovsk Urban Territorial Community Serhii Dobriak briefed the working group members on the main areas of budget spending, the status of completed and planned procurements, as well as the community’s priorities under martial law.
The community head noted that most of the funds had been allocated for fuel and lubricants, electricity procurement, catering services, and other essential needs.
Following the discussion, participants emphasized the importance of continuing to adhere to the principles of openness, transparency, and accountability in the field of public procurement. The working group will continue monitoring procurements carried out and planned by territorial communities across the region.
