One of the important areas of work of the Pokrovsk Youth Council is national and patriotic education. The previous members of the youth council paid great attention to this issue, and the current members are not losing momentum.
This time, the boys and girls met not only to agree on the details of the official meeting of the youth council, but also to put things in order in the amateur museum of modern warfare.
Since the Pokrovsk Sports and Youth Center began operating in Dnipro, a unique initiative has been running - an amateur museum of modern warfare. Its exposition was created thanks to the efforts of active youth from the Pokrovsk community.
The boys and girls of the Pokrovske Youth Council collected the exhibits on their own during volunteer events. Helping our defenders at the front, they received valuable "souvenirs" in return - things that have survived the war: shell casings, tubes, ammunition, and fragments of weapons.
Last weekend, active young people were engaged in updating the museum's exposition: they organized the existing exhibits and added new ones, and renewed the exhibitions.
"It is very important for us to preserve the memory of the events of the modern war. The museum is a living history that we pass on to the next generations. After all, every shell casing or fragment is a reminder of the struggle and the price of our freedom," said Oleksandr Nesterenko, a representative of the youth council and initiator of the museum.
The amateur museum at the Pokrovske Sports and Youth Center has become a space for educating the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism. It is of particular value to the youth of our community as a symbol of invincibility, memory and unity.
