On June 25, a nationwide forum "To the Children of Our Defenders: Care that Unites" took place in Kyiv, aimed at uniting the efforts of socially responsible businesses and the government so that every orphaned child of fallen Defenders has worthy support.
The organizers were the Public Joint Stock Company "Ukrainian Helicopters" in collaboration with the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine and the Ukrainian National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce. Children are our future, and therefore the future of our country.
The organizers called on representatives from various regions to join the charitable platform "To the Children of Our Defenders".
Representatives from the Department of Veteran Policy of the regional state administration also participated in the event.
It is noted that there are 13 orphaned children registered in Donetsk, one of whose parents died defending the independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
As of today, 6 children from this category are already receiving assistance from LLC "APS Solutions Service", LLC "Brand Rumio", and the charitable organization "Dmytro Oleksienko Charitable Foundation". Work is being done to find charitable organizations for further support of our fallen Heroes' children.
The forum marked the start of forming a joint action plan between the state and business to support the children of our fallen Heroes.
