A solemn award ceremony for the winners of the 18th National Charity Competition "Charitable Ukraine - 2024" took place in Kyiv, held under the slogan "Charity in Defense of Ukraine." This year, the competition received 1,790 applications, from which the National Expert Council identified winners in 25 nominations.
The ceremony gathered volunteers, philanthropists, representatives of public organizations, and international partners. Participants had the opportunity to establish connections, exchange experiences, and present their own charitable initiatives.
In the nomination "Local Charity," the 1st place was awarded to the "Charitable Foundation 'Caritas Kramatorsk'," which is now located in Lviv region.
In the nomination "Charity in Education," the 2nd place was awarded to the Charitable Organization "International Charitable Foundation 'Hands of Friends'," which was founded in Kramatorsk and relocated to Vinnytsia.
These victories are not only honorable awards, but also a powerful proof that Donetsk Oblast is a region of strong, caring and responsible people who, despite the challenges of war, remain true to the values of kindness, service and civic responsibility.
