Representatives of the Onokivska rural community in Zakarpattia Oblast visited Donetsk Oblast to support communities facing heightened security challenges.
The working meeting in eastern Ukraine took place as part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities.”
Yaroslav Hrynchuk, acting head of the Onokivka Village Council, visited the Donetsk region along with community representatives. During the visit, the partners delivered essential humanitarian aid to military personnel who continue to carry out combat missions in the eastern sector. The aid included food, generators, equipment, and other necessary supplies.
During the working trip, representatives of the Onokivka community, together with Oleksiy Vorobyov, head of the Siversk City Military Administration, and Serhiy Kalyan, head of the Bakhmut District State Administration, visited sites where fortifications are currently being constructed.
Such meetings serve as an important example of intermunicipal cooperation, mutual support, and unity among Ukrainian communities during this difficult time for the country. Joint efforts within the “Side by Side: United Communities” project help strengthen partnerships between communities, support Ukraine’s defenders, and ensure the resilience of territories that face the challenges of war on a daily basis.
The Onokivka and Siverska communities continue to cooperate, demonstrating that Ukraine’s strength lies in mutual support, solidarity, and shared responsibility for the country’s future.
