On June 4, a meeting was held with war veterans, their family members, and the families of fallen (deceased) defenders of Ukraine from the Bilozerka community.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Regional State Administration’s Department for Veterans’ Policy, the Commissioner for Persons Missing Under Special Circumstances, the Main Directorate of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Donetsk Oblast, and the Center for Primary Health Care.
The following issues were discussed:
- annual state assistance on the occasion of Ukraine’s Independence Day;
- counting of service time during military service;
- key measures of the local War Veterans Support Program;
- mental health during wartime.
Artur Nasibyan, Head of the Department for Veterans’ Policy, provided information on the possibility of receiving state and additional social benefits funded by the regional budget.
Participants had the opportunity to ask questions and receive comprehensive, expert answers.
