On June 4, the Toretsk and Ruzhyn territorial communities jointly participated in the nationwide campaign “Voices of Children,” launched at the initiative of Ukraine’s First Lady Olena Zelenska.
The event took place as part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities,” which brings Ukrainian communities together around support, cooperation, and the preservation of shared values.
Participants in the campaign honored the memory of children whose lives were taken by the war. Bells of remembrance and white doves became symbols of the children’s voices that have been silenced forever by Russian aggression, as well as a reminder of our shared responsibility to preserve the memory of every innocent victim.
Community unity is not only about mutual aid, but also about shared memory, shared pain, and shared hope for a peaceful future for Ukrainian children.
We remember every child. May the innocent victims of war rest in peace.
