On March 27, a meeting was held with war veterans and the families of defenders from the Chasovoyarsk City Community.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Regional State Administration’s Department of Veterans’ Policy, the Bakhmut District State Administration’s Division of Veterans’ Policy, and the Main Directorate of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Donetsk Oblast.
The following issues were discussed:
- the status of veteran policy implementation in the Chasovoyarsk city territorial community;
- additional social guarantees provided at the expense of the local budget;
- social guarantees provided at the national and regional levels;
- pension benefits for military personnel and their families;
- career guidance opportunities at the Bakhmut Pedagogical Vocational College;
- mental health support for military personnel.
They emphasized the importance of continuing regular dialogue and informing veterans about existing state, regional, and local support programs, which will help improve the effectiveness of veteran policy.
