On May 8, an event titled “We Remember. We Unite. We Prevail” was held, attended by war veterans, their family members, and military personnel from the Kalchynska rural community.
Representatives from the Department of Veterans’ Affairs of the Regional State Administration and the Mariupol District State Administration also participated in the event.
The event began with the national anthem and a moment of silence to honor the memory of the victims of World War II, all those who fought against Nazism, and the fallen defenders of Ukraine.
Artur Nasibyan, head of the Department of Veterans’ Policy, greeted all those present and invited them to an open dialogue. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions and received comprehensive answers.
The meeting served as an opportunity to honor the memory of fallen heroes and discuss current issues regarding support for war veterans, their family members, and the families of deceased Defenders of Ukraine, as well as active-duty military personnel.
