On June 25, a meeting was held with war veterans, family members of fallen (deceased) Defenders of Ukraine, and family members of servicemembers missing in action under special circumstances from the Novodonetsk settlement community.
Representatives from the Regional State Administration’s Department of Veterans’ Policy, the Regional Employment Center, the Main Directorate of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Donetsk Oblast, and the Kramatorsk District State Administration participated in the meeting.
During the meeting, the following topics were discussed:
- comprehensive support for veterans in the Novodonetsk settlement community;
- how to return to a stable income after service: opportunities for veterans to obtain secondary vocational, technical, and higher education; employment opportunities; and starting their own businesses;
- pension benefits and subsidies for housing and utility services for war veterans and family members of those killed in action.
Artur Nasibyan, head of the Regional State Administration’s Department of Veterans’ Policy, spoke about the social benefits provided at the national and regional levels.
