On September 18, a meeting was held with family members of fallen (deceased) Defenders of Ukraine, families of servicemembers who are being held captive or are missing in action, and war veterans from the Selidovo city community.
Representatives from the Regional State Administration’s Department of Veterans’ Policy and the Council of War Veterans under the Donetsk Regional State Administration joined the meeting.
During the meeting, participants discussed the work carried out over the first eight months of 2026 to support war veterans, family members of fallen Defenders of Ukraine, and families of servicemembers who are being held captive or are missing in action.
Artur Nasibyan, head of the Regional State Administration’s Department of Veterans’ Policy, spoke about the provision of state and additional social guarantees funded by the regional and local budgets.
