On May 28, a meeting was held with war veterans and family members of fallen (deceased) Defenders of Ukraine and persons missing under special circumstances who are residents of the Siverska urban community.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the regional state administration’s department for veteran policy, a representative of the Commissioner for Persons Missing Under Special Circumstances, the regional employment center, and the Main Directorate of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Donetsk Oblast.
The following issues were discussed:
- the procedure for using the budget funds of the Siverska City Territorial Community to support Defenders of Ukraine and their family members for 2026–2028;
- current opportunities for employment and professional growth, as well as support programs from the employment service;
- specific issues regarding the provision of benefits to war veterans.
Artur Nasibyan, Head of the Department for Veterans’ Policy, spoke about the provision of additional social guarantees funded by the state and regional budgets.
