Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine has been a test not only for the state and society, but also for the system of preserving national memory. The online exhibition of documents "Archives of Donetsk Region: Working in Conditions of Full-Scale War" tells about the inconspicuous but extremely important work of archivists in Donetsk Region in conditions of constant threat, loss, and forced decisions.
The exhibition highlights the experience of archival institutions that, for the second time in a decade, faced the challenge of evacuation, destruction of infrastructure, and the risk of losing unique documents of historical and socio-legal significance.
The materials presented are evidence of professional resilience, responsibility, and awareness of the mission: to preserve the memory of Donetsk region even when history itself is being written to the sound of explosions.
