As part of the national initiative "Side by Side: United Communities," displaced persons from the Pokrovsk community visited the Sheptytsky Museum of Religious History, where the presentation "Exhibition About Us" took place.

The exhibition tells about the life of Pokrovsk at different times and about the creativity of its inhabitants. During the event, guests shared their memories of their city — festivals, favorite streets, flower beds, and fountains, as well as the pain of occupation. Warm conversations, smiles, and sincere stories turned the presentation into a meeting filled with memories, mutual support, and love for their native land.

Museum director Halyna Hrynk said that the idea to present an exhibition about Pokrovsk arose in August, when a delegation of cultural workers from the Pokrovsk community visited Sheptytske as part of the Side by Side: United Communities project.

Angelina Rozhkova, director of the Pokrovsk Historical Museum, spoke about the idea of creating the exhibition in a video address. Deputy Mayor Marta Vashchuk addressed the guests with words of support, emphasizing the importance of cultural cooperation and friendly ties between communities.

During the event, Andriy Protsyk, head of the culture department of the Sheptytsky City Council, presented diplomas to the winners of the IX All-Ukrainian Literary and Art Festival-Competition "Pokrovsky LitFest-2025" — Ivan Napora from Sheptytsky and Lyudmila Vasilenko from Lyman.

The residents of Pokrovka thanked the organizers for the warm welcome, the opportunity to meet, share stories, and feel that, despite the distance, we are all side by side.
