Under the chairmanship of the Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Ihor Boiko, another meeting of the working group "Transparency and Accountability" took place. This week, they reviewed the purchases made by the Sloviansk City Territorial Community during the current year.

"According to the information from the Department of Economics of the Regional State Administration, from January 1 to June 4, 2025, 88 purchases of goods, works, and services worth almost 129 million hryvnias are planned for the Sloviansk City Territorial Community," noted Ihor Boiko.

The head of the Sloviansk City Military Administration Vadym Liah reported that the overwhelming majority of purchases (95%) are financed from the local budget, which indicates the active use of the community's own resources in a state of war. A significant portion of the purchases is directed towards road repairs, ensuring the functioning of educational, healthcare, and cultural institutions. At the same time, the focus on defense and critical infrastructure measures corresponds to the current needs of the territorial community in the context of the security situation near the combat zone. A positive trend is the effective completion of most procurement procedures, which ensures transparency and planned expenditures.

The Deputy Head of the Region Ihor Boiko emphasized that the working group "Transparency and Accountability," which also includes representatives of law enforcement agencies, will continue to monitor the purchases made and planned by the communities of the region.
