New career opportunities are available at any age—it’s important to know where to look for them. The “Experience Matters” project opens up additional employment opportunities for people aged 50+ and helps them find employers who value professional experience and responsibility.
In frontline Kramatorsk, every person who continues to work is important to the community. Here, the value of any kind of work is particularly evident, and every employee who conscientiously does their job contributes to the city’s daily life.
Thanks to her participation in the project, Kramatorsk resident Nadiya found a new employer and returned to work.
She has extensive experience working at housing and utilities companies in Kramatorsk and holds a vocational degree in “Plastering.” In July 2026, she lost her job and turned to the Kramatorsk branch of the Donetsk Regional Employment Center.
Specialists suggested she join a community service program. For two months, Nadiya worked diligently, demonstrating responsibility and a desire to contribute to the community.
At the same time, she filled out an application on the State Employment Service website to participate in the “Experience Matters” project.
And an opportunity arose! In early October, a position for a kitchen worker opened up at a local medical facility. The employer was also participating in the project, so thanks to this initiative, Nadiya was able to find a job.
The medical facility highly valued her willingness to work, and after a short trial period, she was hired.
