A regular meeting of the “Transparency and Accountability” working group was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Ihor Boiko. Members of the working group and invited participants took part in the event.
During the meeting, participants reviewed the state of public procurement in 2026 carried out by communities in Donetsk region, in particular the Selydove city territorial community.
According to the Department of Economy of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, between April 15 and April 23, 2026, procuring entities across 8 territorial communities planned 25 procurements of goods, works, and services totaling UAH 45.2 million.
Out of these 25 procurements, 7 contracts were concluded for the purchase of goods (including electronic warfare equipment, gasoline, diesel fuel, construction rods, bars, wires, and profiles), as well as for works related to adjustments of design and cost documentation.
Relevant documents were provided to the members of the working group for review.
Head of the Selydove City Military Administration Anatolii Nemchenko presented the key areas of budget spending, the status of completed and planned procurements, and the community’s priorities under martial law.
“During the reporting period, 23 procurements totaling UAH 44.7 million have already been carried out. The main contracting authorities were the Selydove City Council, the Municipal Institution ‘Center for Social Services,’ the Municipal Non-Profit Enterprise ‘Selydove Central City Hospital,’ and the Municipal Non-Profit Enterprise ‘Center of Primary Health Care.’ The majority of expenditures — 84% — were directed toward social support, including care for beneficiaries, food provision, and infrastructure development,” Anatolii Nemchenko reported.
Following the discussion, participants emphasized the need to continue adhering to the principles of openness, transparency, and accountability in public procurement. The working group will continue to monitor procurements carried out and planned by territorial communities in the region.
