On August 24, 2026, the village of Kropyvna in the Zolotonosha district was filled with a special atmosphere of unity, pride, and the Ukrainian spirit.
As part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities,” the Shakhiv community in Donetsk Oblast and the Zolotonosha community in Cherkasy Oblast celebrated Ukraine’s Independence Day together.
The creative team at the Shakhiv Village Council’s multifunctional space was delighted to participate in the regional national and patriotic events.
Talented craftswomen and chefs proudly represented the Shakhiv community by participating in various activities.
At the patriotic exhibition, they showcased amazing handmade crafts, each of which embodies love for their homeland, traditions, and faith in victory. All guests were treated to the most delicious, aromatic Ukrainian kulish, prepared with open hearts according to time-honored recipes.
