On February 11, as part of the national project "Side by Side: United Communities," a joint online event was held to mark Safer Internet Day — a vibrant, dynamic, and highly relevant cyber quest for children aged 10–16 with game elements.
🌍 The following communities took part in the event:
- Chemerovetska settlement territorial community,
- Velykoberezovytska settlement territorial community,
- Svyatogorska city territorial community.
Together, they discussed the most important issues in the digital world:
✔ how to recognize phishing and avoid becoming a victim of fraudsters,
✔ why you should not share private photos,
✔ how social engineering works,
✔ what a digital footprint is and why it matters,
✔ why the password "123456" is not a joke but a real threat,
✔ how to protect yourself from deepfakes and fake accounts.
In an online quest format, children worked through real cases, analyzed life situations, learned to make informed decisions, and became true cyberheroes.
Our goal is not just to familiarize them with safety rules, but to develop critical thinking and digital resilience. Because today, safe behavior on the Internet is not an option. It is a necessary skill for modern people.
Together, we are building strong, united, and digitally literate communities!
