The Slavic Cultural Center "Zadzerkalya" is located in Kropyvnytskyi

Published 10 April 2026 year, 16:19

Donetsk Oblast is more than just a region. It is the people, the memories, and the traditions that we must preserve, no matter where we are.

For many years, the Slavyansk Cultural Center “Zadzerkalya” has carried out cultural projects in various regions of Ukraine, including Donetsk Oblast. Its team has always focused on young people—on what interests them, what unites and inspires them—organizing festivals, conducting quests, and hosting eco-talks, eco-campaigns, and performances. This is how the modern cultural space of Donetsk Oblast took shape.

Today, “Zadzerkalya” continues its work in Kropyvnytskyi. A new coworking space has opened here, serving as a base for projects targeting youth and internally displaced persons. Schoolchildren and students can come here to study, socialize, work on their own ideas, or simply spend time in a friendly environment.

When thousands of Donetsk region residents were forced to leave their homes, it became especially important not to lose touch with their homeland. It is thanks to initiatives like this that our traditions, our culture, and our community live on.
