Even under the most difficult conditions and despite the proximity to the frontline, life in Donetsk region goes on. People are looking for jobs, gaining new skills, and starting businesses.

Distance is not a barrier to support. Understanding how difficult it is now for residents of frontline and remote settlements in the region to travel to cities, the Employment Service brings its services directly to people.

On May 27, specialists from the Oleksandrivka Department of the Kramatorsk Branch, together with Ihor Rybalchenko, Deputy Director of the Donetsk Regional Employment Center, visited the village of Vysokopillia in the Oleksandrivka community.

Right on site, everyone had the opportunity to address their career-related needs:

• Current job vacancies — learn which specialists are needed in the region today.

• Free vocational training — opportunities for professional education and educational vouchers.

• Funding for starting a business — консультації щодо грантових програм “Own Business,” “Experience Matters,” “Point of Support,” and other initiatives.

• Practical assistance — advice on how to prepare a strong resume and confidently pass a job interview.

Special attention was paid to supporting those who currently need it most: internally displaced persons, veterans, young people, people with disabilities, and residents approaching retirement age.
