Published 17 October 2025 year, 18:51

On October 17, Acting Director of the Donetsk Regional Employment Center Nataliia Adamova held an online meeting with representatives of humanitarian hubs and support centers for internally displaced persons (IDPs) aimed at strengthening cooperation and enhancing support for people who were forced to leave their homes.

Through joint efforts, it becomes possible to more effectively promote employment, vocational training, and the development of entrepreneurial initiatives among IDPs.

During the event, Ms. Adamova emphasized:

“Today, the Employment Service is not only about helping people find jobs.

We offer IDPs opportunities for vocational training, skills upgrading, support for business initiatives, and compensation for employers who hire displaced persons.

Cooperation with humanitarian hubs allows us to be closer to people who are rebuilding their lives and to promptly inform them about the opportunities offered by the Employment Service.”

Participants were informed about registration procedures with the Employment Service, compensation programs for employers hiring IDPs and people with disabilities, the Unified Job Portal, and state grant programs for business support.

The participants shared their experiences of working with IDPs, discussed the needs of people seeking new opportunities, and agreed on further cooperation.
