Thanks to the joint efforts of caring people, a new home was found for Uriah, a dog who was evacuated from Kramatorsk.
Due to work-related circumstances, his caretaker could no longer look after the animal. A neighbor took Uriah in, but she later had to evacuate from the city as well.
Initially, the plan was to find temporary foster care for the dog, but later the question arose of placing him in a shelter. Olga, the manager of UAnimals’ evacuation division, decided to try to find a permanent family for Uriah.
She recalled a family in the Zhytomyr region who had previously wanted to take in a dog from the frontline area. The family hesitated for a while, since Uriy is already an adult, and they had recently lost their own dog.
In the end, the family decided to take Uriy in. He is now in the Zhytomyr region and has a new home and family.
