On June 13-14, the European Nordic Walking Championships were held in Tirano, Italy. The flags of more than 10 European countries flew over the sports arena, where nearly 300 participants competed for the title of champion.
Athletes from Donetsk region performed well as part of the national team of the Ukrainian Nordic Walking Federation.
In the category "Children with special needs":
Maxim Rotan took the second place.
His mother, Tatiana Rotan, acted as his guide.
Andriy Rotan took 7th place in the Children's category.
In the category "Women aged 50-59" III place - Tatyana Nazarova (Pokrovskaya TG)
She also won gold in the relay race as part of the Ukrainian women's national team.
