January–February 2026 is the time to showcase your talent. Young artists from all over Donetsk Oblast can take another confident step towards creative heights.
The ‘Step to Olympus’ competition aims to preserve and develop Ukrainian cultural identity; discover and support young talent; create space for growth, learning and creative experimentation.
Age categories of participants:
• Category I — 10–13 years old;
• Category II — 14–15 years old;
• Category III — 16 years and older.
Stages of the competition:
• 8–31 January 2026 — Round I (qualifying round)
• 6–27 February 2026 — Round II (regional round)
Competition categories:
• piano;
• string instruments (violin, cello, double bass);
• music theory (music literature);
• folk instruments (keyboard, plucked string);
• wind (brass, woodwind) and percussion instruments;
• vocals (academic, folk, pop, jazz);
• visual arts (academic drawing, painting);
• theatre arts.
Participation in the competition is free of charge.
