The Ministry of Culture of Ukraine, in collaboration with the Ukrainian National News Agency “Ukrinform,” has announced a call for proposals for the expert selection of the best projects under the “Language Initiative 2026.”
The event is organized in accordance with the State Targeted National-Cultural Program for Ensuring the Comprehensive Development and Functioning of the Ukrainian Language as the State Language in All Spheres of Public Life for the Period Until 2030. This special event will take place as part of the All-Ukrainian Forum dedicated to Ukrainian Writing and Language Day, scheduled for October 29, 2026.
The goal of the initiative is to present and recognize the most successful social, educational, and informational practices aimed at establishing and promoting the Ukrainian language.
Projects or nominations can be submitted in three categories:
“Best Educational Initiative in the Ukrainian Language”—educational platforms, courses, conversation clubs, training sessions, and learning formats (submission form: https://surl.li/udppha)
“Best Media Project on the Ukrainian Language”—themed podcasts, TV and radio programs, blogs, and special projects in digital media (application form: https://surl.li/aqglmn )
“Ambassador of the Ukrainian Language”—public figures, volunteers, opinion leaders, and promoters of the Ukrainian language (application form: https://surl.li/ioamxd )
The deadline for submissions is 6:00 p.m. on October 2, 2026.
