On August 6, 2025, a youth forum “#Youth2025: Change_Act_Inspire” was held in Dnipro with the support of UNICEF, which brought together more than 250 participants from Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions. The event became a platform for discussing the achievements and prospects for the development of youth policy at the regional level.
The youth of Donetsk region presented their own results - in particular, examples of effective cooperation with authorities, local initiatives in the field of youth policy, culture, education, sustainable development, volunteering and civic activism were demonstrated.
As part of the discussion panel “Changing Together: Youth Who Act and Inspire for Results”, participants discussed the challenges that young people face in implementing projects, and also shared success stories that motivate them to take active action in communities.
One of the key events was the TEDx-style space “Career without Templates”, where young leaders shared their personal experiences of professional growth, development of their own initiatives and formation of a modern vision of leadership.
The forum also featured interactive zones: “Youth Map” for mapping public organizations, “Map of Achievements” with examples of implemented initiatives, “Wall of Ideas: Youth2025”, where everyone could offer their vision of the directions of youth work in the coming year. The “Eco-Awareness Zone” hosted a pitching of eco-projects, a workshop on ecological thinking and a simulation game about the interaction of youth with government officials.
The forum became a powerful platform for establishing cooperation between youth, representatives of the public sector, local authorities and other stakeholders, and also confirmed the readiness of young people to take an active part in shaping the future of their communities.
The event took place within the framework of the implementation of the UNICEF program funded by the Government of Bulgaria in the Dnipropetrovsk region and was organized with the support of the Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk Regional Administrations.
