A 48-hour course on training citizens for national resistance for another group of Donetsk region residents has completed in Dnipro.
The training was organized by the Platform “Center for Unity and National Resistance” of Donetsk region in cooperation with the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Center for Training Citizens for National Resistance.
In conditions of full-scale war, knowledge and practical skills that help citizens act correctly in emergency and crisis situations acquire special importance. National resistance is not only the readiness to defend the state with weapons in hand. It is also discipline, responsibility, mutual assistance, psychological stability and the ability to make balanced decisions in difficult circumstances.
For 48 hours, the students mastered the theoretical part of the course and consolidated the knowledge gained during practical classes. Participants learned to act in an organized manner, work in a team, assess risks, and be responsible for their own safety and the safety of others.
During the course, special attention was paid to the formation of practical skills necessary for actions during periods of military threats. The curriculum was structured in such a way that the participants not only received new information, but also understood how to apply it in real conditions.
The final stage of the training was a trip to the training ground, where the participants underwent practical training in fire training. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, the participants familiarized themselves with the rules of safe handling of weapons and consolidated the knowledge acquired during the course.
Practical training at the training ground required maximum concentration, discipline, and responsibility from the participants. For many participants, this was an important experience that helped them better understand their own capabilities and make sure that confidence is formed primarily through training.
After successfully completing the full course, participants received certificates of completion of training citizens for national resistance.
However, the main result of the training is not only the document received. It is new knowledge, practical experience, confidence in one’s own actions and readiness to be useful to one’s community and state.
Residents of Donetsk region, who are currently in different regions of Ukraine due to the war, continue to study, unite and strengthen the capacity of civil society. Conducting such courses contributes to the formation of a culture of responsible attitude to security and increases the general level of readiness of the population for possible challenges.
The platform “Center of Unity and National Resistance” of Donetsk region has established interaction with centers for training citizens for national resistance in different regions of Ukraine — from Dnipropetrovsk region to Transcarpathia. Such cooperation makes it possible to organize training for residents of the Donetsk region who are in different regions of the country due to the war, and to provide them with access to the necessary knowledge and practical training regardless of their place of temporary residence. A strong state begins with trained citizens - people who are aware of their responsibility, do not remain helpless in the face of threats, and are ready to act together.
