Today at noon in Yasnohirka, an enemy drone hit an emergency medical service vehicle. One ambulance worker was killed. Two more people were injured.
Medics in Donetsk Oblast go every day to where it is dangerous. They respond under shelling, pick up the wounded, and save lives in moments when seconds count. And at that exact moment, the Russian army targets them.
"This is hard to accept, even after everything we have seen during the years of war.
My sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased. Wishing a speedy recovery to the wounded.
And a deep bow to all the medics of Donetsk Oblast who continue to respond to calls, knowing the risk they put themselves in to save others," emphasized Vadym Filashkin.
