"We have opened the Veteran Development Center of the Donetsk Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education — it is now operating in Kyiv, based at the University of Educational Management.
This is a space for those returning from the war — for support, rehabilitation, acquiring new knowledge and professions, and adapting to life after service.
At the opening ceremony, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Institute and the Ministry of Veterans Affairs — a document that lays the foundation for joint projects in the field of veterans' rights protection and support for their families.
The event was attended by veterans, educators, and artists. Among them were People's Artist of Ukraine and veteran Oleksandr Pecherytsia, as well as poet and serviceman of the 66th Brigade, Oleksandr Kucherenko.
The Center is the result of cooperation with the Ministry of Veterans Affairs and is part of the implementation of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's initiative ‘Policy of Heroes’," emphasized Vadym Filashkin.
