As part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities,” Roman Padun, head of the Kurakhiv City Military Administration, held a public reception for residents in the city of Ladyzhyn, where many residents of the Kurakhiv community now live.
They discussed various issues people face as they settle into their new lives. One of the most important issues is providing housing for internally displaced persons. This is a painful issue for many families in the Kurakhiv community, and the Kurakhiv City Military Administration continues to seek ways to resolve it.
But it wasn’t just the business discussions that left the deepest impression. The warm encounters, heartfelt words, and shared memories of Kurakhove and the community… In moments like these, you really feel that what unites us is not just a shared past, but the home we all carry in our hearts.
Roman Padun also met with Oleksandr Kolomiets, the head of the Ladyzhyn community, and thanked him for supporting our citizens.
We are far from home, but we are close to one another. We believe that the “Side by Side: United Communities” initiative will serve as an example of true partnership and a shared journey toward the recovery and unity of our country.
