The vacation for children from the Chasovoyarsk community in Transcarpathia has come to an end. Ten days in the hospitable Yasinya community flew by incredibly quickly. These were days filled with fun, new experiences, heartfelt emotions, friendship, the stunning landscapes of Transcarpathia, and warm encounters.

For children who have survived the war and been forced to leave their homes, such moments are especially precious. They give the children a chance—even if only briefly—to experience childhood, relax, recharge, and simply smile.

Partnership in action! “Side by Side” means communities supporting one another and working together for the benefit of the people. The Chasovoyarsk and Yasinya communities continue to strengthen their friendship and cooperation, demonstrating that unity and mutual support are especially important in times of war.

War divides cities and destinies, but at the same time shows just how strong Ukraine can be when we stand together. “Side by Side: United Communities"  — this is about support, humanity, friendship, and working together for the future of our children.

Thank you to everyone who joined this trip and gave the children ten unforgettable days.

Solidarity means standing shoulder to shoulder.  We work for the people!
