On May 27, a round table titled "Dialogue of Dignity: Veterans and Authorities" took place in the Oleksandrivka territorial community — a space for open communication between defenders who have returned from war and representatives of local authorities.
The meeting was attended by the head of the Department of Veteran Policy of the Regional State Administration, Artur Nasibyan, the head of the Oleksandrivka settlement military administration, Lyudmyla Borysevych, the acting head of the Department of Veteran Policy of the Kramatorsk District State Administration, Iryna Cherniakova, the director of the Oleksandrivka Center for Primary Medical and Sanitary Aid, Liliya Protasova, the head of the Oleksandrivka branch of the Kramatorsk Employment Center, Vitaliy Kukhtik, representatives from the social protection department, the administrative services center, the youth council, as well as veterans and family members of defenders of Ukraine.
During the meeting, key areas of support for veterans in the community were discussed. The results of a survey conducted among veterans, combatants, and individuals with disabilities due to the war were presented, which helped identify the most pressing needs — in social protection, medical care, simplification of administrative procedures, and employment.
Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of implementing a position responsible for interaction with veterans to respond promptly to requests. Participants were informed about the work of the "Single Window for Veterans" — a convenient service that provides quick access to administrative services. The discussion also covered medical assistance for veterans with injuries or traumas and the opportunities provided by the employment service — from obtaining education to developing veteran businesses.
The event concluded with honoring the memory of the fallen, sincere words of gratitude, and symbolic gifts from the youth.
The Oleksandrivka community sets an example of unity, respect, and responsibility towards those who defend Ukraine.
