Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Ihor Boiko paid a working visit to the city of Znamianka, where he reviewed the organization of support for internally displaced persons, the development of sports initiatives, and the implementation of patriotic programs for children and youth.

During the visit, participants discussed physical education, wellness, and sports activities carried out in cooperation with humanitarian hubs of Donetsk region for internally displaced persons. In particular, joint events are regularly organized in Kropyvnytskyi together with the “I Am Mariupol” and “Yednannia Kropyvnytskyi” hubs, contributing to the social adaptation of displaced people, support for children, and promotion of an active lifestyle.

Special attention was paid to plans for the summer period. Recreational and awareness-raising cycling events involving students of the sports institution are planned. These activities aim to promote cycling, strengthen children’s health, and foster team spirit.

The institution also regularly organizes events dedicated to national holidays and commemorative dates aimed at patriotic education, the development of civic awareness, and support for the emotional well-being of children under current conditions.

During the working trip, issues related to the material and technical support of the sports school were also discussed. According to the 2026 budget allocations, the institution will be provided with the necessary bicycle spare parts to maintain bicycles in proper technical condition. A procurement tender has already been completed, and a contract for the supply of the required equipment has been signed.

During the meeting, Ihor Boiko also congratulated the young athletes and wished them new victories, perseverance, and confidence in their own abilities.
