Humanitarian hubs and centers established for residents of the Donetsk region in safe areas of Ukraine hosted interesting, touching, and fun events to celebrate Mother’s Day.
At the “MiRazom” IDP Support Center for the Kramatorsk District in Poltava, a warm and heartfelt interactive event titled “Mother’s Day—About What’s Important and Real” was held to mark Mother’s Day in Ukraine. Participants had the opportunity to play an icebreaker game, draw a picture together in a circle, prepare gifts for their mothers with their own hands, and experience pleasant emotions, a sense of support, and understanding within a friendly circle.
At the “Yednannia” humanitarian hub of the Pokrovsk MBA in Kropyvnytskyi, a photo exhibition was held on the themes of love, family, and the unbreakable maternal heart. After all, the mothers of Donetsk Oblast are strong, tender women who, even in difficult times, do not lose their faith, hope, and love.
In the children’s rooms of the “YaMariupol” IDP support centers, children created cards, portraits of their mothers, and beautiful bouquets of magical flowers for them. For the adults, meetings were organized for the mothers and wives of our defenders—women who embody love, resilience, wisdom, and great inner strength.
The “Heart of the East” IDP Support Center in the Mariupol District hosted a cozy and heartwarming event titled “Mom, You Are the Sunshine of My Life!”, which celebrated the role of mothers in everyone’s lives and fostered love, respect, and gratitude for our loved ones.
Humanitarian hubs and centers hosted evenings of gratitude, support, and unity, filled with words of thanks, concert programs, informal gatherings, and tea parties that brought together mothers, wives, and sisters, honoring their strength, resilience, and love—which serve as a reliable pillar of support during wartime.
